discussion Revell, Hasegawa, Armourfast!! Who to choose???

Hello,

Have recently decided to produce a German Panzergrenadier detachment in 1/72 scale and so have started looking around for the appropriate kits.

First off I purchased an Italeri Sd. Kfz. 251 and was a little disappointed, have seen the same kit produced by other companies of couse such as Armourfast, Revell Hasegawa etc.. so was wondering if there is a 'standout' brand for quality, detail and accuracy.

If anyone could offer some advice it would be much appreciated, and save me some money in the process.

Armourfast are very basic, their models are intended for wargamers

Revell can be good but I can't be specific about that particular kit & Hasegawa 1/72 kits are very good in my experience

Have you done a search on Google? You can often find useful kit reviews

Thanks for the reply. Just put together a Revell Tiger VI which I thought was a good kit and looking at the kits available brands such as Hasagawa seem to be the more expensive, whereas Armourfast are by far the cheapest. So hoping price may be a good indication of quality in general (sounds kinda obvious I guess).

Never searched Google before for reviews but certainly going to now, thanks again for advice, heres to perfect kits for all.
