Nice one Mark, another biggie.

Is that card cutting machine an expensive item, because it looks like something for the tool kit.

She got herself a Cameo cutting machine from create and craft it was about 200.00 quid. My wife loves making cards and craft projects and Im often caught borrowing her brushes and tweesers :D

Your Condor is looking the biz so far Mark, and thanks for the info on the card cutter, a bit pricey but maybe something to think about for the future.

cheers Tony :) the cameo cutter was something my wife wanted for ages as she has trouble with her joints and it makes light work of cutting intricate patterns out. Was thinking of using it to cut out and make a model German airfield.

This one is quite fiddly with lots of masking off and clear parts to put together but its great fun. Today's progress was putting the under sections together and opening up the windows on the front canopy. Was a bit scared to cut them but a very sharp scalpel did the trick. Now just waiting for my air compressor so I can get on with the spraying.

Any how here are some pics of today's efforts.

Grrr stupid instructions.. the camo colours were labeled wrongly and in reverse bah.. so got to do that all over again being color blind does not help. If any one else is going to make this kit beware that they have messed up the camo colours so M and N are in fact the other way round. Oh well its all good practice.

If you look at the instructions you can see on the tail that M is the dark colour and N is the lighter colour.

The paint chart says that M is 47 mouse gray 90% + 10% of 45 light olive matt. N is Dark green matt 90% + 10% yellow matt. Clearly the wrong way round me thinks correct me if I am wrong please..

This is looking good Mark. I don't know why but this thing looks evil to me somehow, weird isn't it how people perceive aircraft as they are all inherently graceful to some degree.

No doubt about the evil behind Hitlers regime but I do find the German planes very interesting. My father worked in the US airforce as an aircraft mechanic and I started off making 1950s jet fighters but was then drawn to the German bombers. I like the colours camo and design of these German planes. The thought of them flying towards England to invade us makes them scary but also interesting. I also quite admire the designs way ahead of there time some of them and a good job Hitler was defeated when he was, the thought of what could have happened if he was allowed more time is horrific.
