Howdy guys.
Put this tiny charming ickle Carrier together the past couple of days. You can gauge the size of her by the Tamiya thin bottle next to it.IBG models make 4 different carrier models. This is the earlier Mark 1 and i was beguilled by the nice box art. They do lots of interesting kits such as Italian tankettes and Cromwells etc.But boy are the tracks small!!!!.You have to put tiny links together over the idler and sprockets and then join longer links to form a run.It took me over 3 hours putting them together and i kept pondering how to put them together. They supply a jig which is just a thicker piece of shaped plastic which looks like a WW1 mark 1v in profile.I resorted to gingerly pushing a few together and trying to put the tiniest drop of Quick type Tamiya on them but still ends up flowing on the reverse side of the tracks.I didnt lose my cool and only a couple of industrial words which is mild by my standards.Ive even bought some 3D crew by Model trend and you get 4 figures in relaxed poses but cost me a score for the 4.The picture is my inspiration for a little vignete.
