Hello

I'm working on this model, my first ever 1/72 and it's tiny! The length of the fuselage is about three inches and the wing span less than five. How on earth do I rig it please? Nothing has been supplied although the instructions show some sort of thread. There are no points to anchor the rigging. What do I use, how do I attach the rigging? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Aidan

The one and only time I've done it I drilled right through the wings and used fishing line held in place with superglue

The Aircraft specialists might have better suggestions

i made plugs from the sprues then sanded them down and painted seamless then, though mine was bigger at 1/28

Hi Aidan When i did my 1/72 Swordfish, i used thin fishing line for the rigging, before putting the wing struts on i made a small groove at the top and bottom of them so you could put the line under and over the struts. Then when the glue was dry i used a LITTLE heat from a lighter to stretch the fishing line ( if you use this method i would practice on some spare sprue just to see how the line reacts to the heat ) Hope this helps, If you wish to have a look at mine its under 1/72 Airfix Swordfish
