I'd thought I had posted this here a while back, oops ! Construction is nearly complete, primer to follow soon with an as-yet undecided base. Will post pics of that later, hope you all like this so far ! It has been a fun build...

It’s odd, looking at the photos it gives the impression something went wrong with them, and made them too wide — like stretching a 4:3 TV show to fit 16:9 widescreen TV. But then you get to the ones with the figures next to the vehicle and the model turns out to actually look like that :)

Hi Jakko,
Yeah once I opened the box, thats the first thing I noticed is how much real estate this takes up. I'd already planned beforehand to use the tracks from Pzkpfw VII Lowe that I had onhand from an earlier failed project. The kit tracks are anemic and way too flat.

Very cool - is this from a game?
Hi AJ, glad you like it, Thanks. Hmmm... not sure about it's origin, possibly World Of Tanks game, perhaps... ? I'm not a gamer but saw this kit done up on Youtube and wanted to do my own spin on it.

It's a beauty. The figs really give it scale.

Wonderful looking build Ron… loving the details being added keep it coming

What a great idea. Love all the little details and the figure to give an idea of size.

Thanks Jim, my choice of extra-wide tracks I know makes an already-huge vehicle look almost cartoonishly bigger, but, I love it anyway. It's exactly what I had in mind.

I’m not sure, but I think it’s just a manufacturer’s what-if, possibly based on speculation on the Internet or even a real suggested design from the war that was never actually made even as a mockup.
