Hi all just ordered Academy 1/350 Ruben james I have the incling of an idea for it, it will look nothing like the box art if I have my way with it, anyone know how long the actual built model is so I can plan the background.

Well the actual USS Ruben James is 453 feet/138 metres in Length Overall (maximum length of a vessel's hull measured parallel to the waterline).

138 metres divided by 350 = 0.394 metres = 39.4 centimetres, = 394 millimetres

Thanks guys nice to have imperial and metric measurements, if I need conversions anymore a don't need to use my phone I can just come on here. Nice useful tool to add to my toolbox.
