This will be a working diorama I plan to build. This is 4mm scale or OO gauge in British money;).
The diorama will consist of a scalemodelscenery baseboard which is 400mm x 100mm. There will be a low relief wagon works factory building, this will run the full length of the backscend. This I have already started to glue together.
A length of track will run the full length of the board in front of the wagon works factory.
My loco of choice will be a Ruston & Hornsby 48DS, ideal for this type of diorama. The remainder of the board will have a yard office with my usual lineside and railway items. And of course plenty of tiny detail, foliage and grass.
Here is a picture of my start..

Looking forward to this Kevin :smiling3:.
Thanks SWR, this one will take a little while as I need to concentrate adding the brick card to the the laser cut factory building.

Hi guys I thought I would give you a little update. This diorama has changed slightly in size, the board size is now 210mm x 100mm.
The theme has also changed as I wanted to model a little rural goods yard diorama.
Progress has been made on the yard office, all that needs completing is painting and weathering the office and to add the glazing.

This morning work has progressed on the paved yard area of the diorama, the seam where the two bits join won’t be visible once a little filler is added.
I have put the office where it will positioned for the pictures. I’m looking forward to painting and weathering up the the paved yard section.
