Excelent work Ralph, what did you use for the armour metallic?

I went for green because I wanted a dark colour.

As for your question,it's a secret:D.no no.


What you see in the pic is an Overall coat of Tamiya XF1.I then gave an overall coat of Alclad 2 Magnesium.I then gave a very light highlighting all over(drybrushing) with GW runefang steel.I then put shadows in using lamp black oil(well thinned).

coming along very nicely,liking the look of the amour,do like the black,tone to it,


the cloth looks good,and like how your done the staining along the bottom,very nice progress so far, ;)

I just fancied having the armour quite dark as opposed to bright and shiny. ;)

yes I agree as I do as well,like the blacken armour as well, ;)
 
Even at this stage its way better than anything I could produce cracking stuff

Stunning painting Ralph. Each update brings it more to life. This will be a very impressive piece when finished.
