Hi

I'm a recent returnee to scale modelling after a 20+ year lapse, my current build is a 1/32 Revell AR196b and it's proving to be a bit of a steep re-learning curve, I might post photo's when done but at the minute it's fighting me, it's taken 4 solid days to carve the engine out of the flash (and I've still missed bits) and drill all the holes for the exhaust pipes, ah well it's all practice but I'm not expecting it to be up some of the stunning builds found here.

One thing I have noticed about returning is pre-mixed washes are great for the terminally colourblind, but you might still have to forgive my colour schemes.

Cheers
Si

Welcome Si! A lot of returning modellers on here - I took a break for about 40 years.

Welcome Si No.2!

As long as you are happy with the result of your efforts it doesn't matter that other builds might appear better than yours.......That's life.

Try your best and just have fun.

Ron

Welcome from another Simon possibly of a similar age, facing similar problems, and just up the road in Rossendale.

Horrido!
