Santa flew over and missed me again, never mind, I get to watch you chaps build instead...

I got the Airfix 1:24 Stuka, and a nice book about the Spitfire. Happy. :D

No kits for me, or anything to do with modelling...........

Father Christmas brought me 12 very obscure bottles of beer, two new release PS3 games and TWO, yes two, Joe Bonamassa dvd's on blu-ray.....Live from the Albert Hall and Live from New York, The Beacon Theatre.......

Who needs model kits?......Well not for a week or two anyway!!!!!!

All the best.

Ron

mo models etc for me either thu my kids got me a tassimo bless them lol

Only modelling related thing was the Osprey M4 Sherman book I was after :) With a stash of gawd knows how many, it's all i deserve haha!

On a different sort of modelling, the photographic sort, I got a 4-in-1 light reflector too..

Well I got Italeri's PT109 in 1/35 from my better half, to add to the collection. The is also something hanging in the postal system from the father in law. So I will have to wait and see what that is when it turns up.

A copy Of Cypry the Carp which I be getting my nose into tomorrow.

Nothing model related for me either, but I did get a machine polisher for the 1:1 scale cars outside. I'll practise the technique on the wife's car then move onto mine. It'll look like wet glass when I'm finished with it!

1/350 HMS Illustrious from my wife.

1/48 Westland Lynx HMA 8 also from the wife

1/144 German Sub MK XXI off my daughter and this is cool because it has a cut away along the hull showing the interior.

I didn't get any either but I did get money so I need to work out what I want to build...

Mamod Traction engine and trailer for me, in challenging need of some TLC. Just what I was after.

Yes, I'm a closet toy steam fan. Showmans' Engine coming up.

Oh and a Papa Smurf T shirt from my piss-taking Granddaughter!

Martin

Adrian,

I did the prototype boot spoiler on that WRC Imprezza when I was clay modelling at Dove Engineering in Norfolk, who did all the upgrades on that car for Peter Stephens, ProDrive's designer. The spoiler gave no downforce in the wind tunnel, but 15% drag!

Enjoy the kits.

Martin

I did okay.

An Academy 1/35 Hummer thingy for the SIG build, which I knew about!

Fly 1/32 Ba 349 V "Natter"

Hasegawa 1/32 ME 163 B "Komet".

Heinkel He 219 by Roland Kemp (the Schiffer publication)

Cheers

Steve

Not much theme building going on here. British, foreign, car, ship, tanks, all over the place. I'm surprised.
