What a plonker I am! Built a model, painted it, applied Future, washed it, toned it down, added more weathering, just about to start the final stretch of chipping & pastels when..... I realise that I forgot to put on the decals! DOH! Patrick (hanging his head in shame!):sobbing:

LOL, makes me feel better when I do it, and I just know I will.

lol I never noticed that John! maybe the crew lost them in the snow ;o) by the way, it's not my T-34!

Well done! What model was it? I managed to miss two little "nicht anfassen" decals off my antenna mast recently but remembered all the others. I'm sure, like a cat falling off the back of the sofa, you'll make a cool recovery.

Cheers

It's a King Tiger that I've been working on (more off than on!) Steve. I opened a box & there where the decals-I bet my face was a picture! What I said can't be repeated here ;o) fingers crossed I can bounce back! Patrick

Only two little'uns for me. I used Klear as a setting solution, you could avoid re-glossing the whole model this way. I'd be nervous about doing any large decals with this system.

We've all been there Patrick but with your skills, i'm sure you'll have it way under control. One of the biggest mistakes i've made was when i was doing my Jagdpanzer (you might remember i never posted it) and for the washes i used oil paints plus Humbrol enamel thinners - whish i thought was the right thing to do. Applied it and all the paint started smearing and then coming off. Then i realised, opps, i'd forgotten to apply a coat of varnish. :) )

Cheers

Paul
