Good start John, i use a mix of Vallejo, life colour and artiste paints, normally life colour for faces. I dont know where you start but i always start with the face, i think this is the one thing that gives the character life so i like to get that right first and then work my way down

Paul,The face I think like you say is possibly the main feature it can make or break a figure as in real life when you meet someone new you always look at their faces 1st unless it's a woman and she isn't looking lol The head is only held by blu tac at the moment but will be taken off for painting and put on a cocktail stick and replaced last when all else is finished .
