ta John / Richi so glad that you like the idea, and appreciate that so much ;)

just a quick free hand one,

I was thinking just the same Richi,so used this foam stuff, and I will coat it with PVA,and grout or concreat mix i have,

and that ,I hope will hold it all in place and then do the rest of it with cardboard or depron, and run some wood down

the middle,to give a fixing point with 1 or 2 dwells in it,

well i hope you like the star, ;)

ta Richi,I hope to get more done on it on sunday as im busy today,

maybe the the shape all done and coat on one side of the PVA /concrete power

and make a start on the neck,

as i wont to keep it blocky so it some what looks Aztec, like ;)

ps, thank you so much for getting them together for me ,no rush,at all

i know you have your Dio,so close to finshing so all in good time,

do real appreciate you doing for me, :)

That's a really smart idea, carving the eagle's head from floral foam (I think we call it 'oasis' over here). Can't wait to see it finished.

ta Mike, was going to do in clay ,but as Richi, said it would be heavy ,and its costly,

so this way its liter and cheaper ;)

small update for the day,

I know the head is not 100% to the drawing, but it is a suture after all,

and with some paint and weathering should turn out ok i hope,

have draw up what the neck is going to be,so that should trun out close as well to what i wont, ;)

have the base coat of the armour on,which i went for chain-mail,then to use brass, copper and gold, and the leather look as well,

next is the flesh base to go down being aged white with a tint of green, ;)

so what do you think so far ?
