One thing that may be worth looking at stocking John, lead wire. It comes in many gauges and is ideal for detailing in kits, much better than the stiffer copper or fuse wire as it settles into shape so easily. Not too expensive either. I have some .5mm and will certainly be in the market for different thickness soon.

I was looking at that last night, wasn't sure if it would be a big seller, but there's nothing wrong with me getting a few sizes

I've added some to my next order, it's Plusmodel Lead Wire from 0.2 to 1.0mm, 9 sizes in total it will be £1.10 for each size

John this shop idea was a bad move. You're gonna cost me a packet

That is the lead wire I have John and your pricing is competitive. I will certainly be getting some of that, cheers :-)

Hi John,

I've just put my first order in mate, good luck with the new venture.

I will also be ordering some Plusmodel Lead Wire from the shop when it comes in stock.

Cheers Joolz.

Thanks, due to the bank holiday I will send it Tuesday, the knifes you orders are really good I've been using them for a while.

Ohhh no, i've just been up to the shop John and i've seen a lot of stuff that i'll be getting and some very nice kits i need in my life too. So expect some money from me in the near future and all the best with the shop.

Have fun, John

I tell you what would be cool John, either a 1/48 or 1/72 AC-130 Spooky II

If you got them i would definately get a few for my (rather unconvincing) Stash :P

I could only find Italeri 1:72 - AC-47 'Spooky' but that was out of stock

do you buy wholesale or individually, as some wholesaliers may have the italeri 1/48?

but.. but.. usually they have everything!

I suppose theres always the scratchbuilding option, but then again im as good at that as a slug is at running...

Parcel arrived at 7:35 this morning John. All safe and sound and delivered as soon as it could have been possible due to me ordering on a Bank Holiday weekend. Great stuff and many thanks. One question though, is there any brown tape left in the world? Tok me ages in my excited parcel ripping open mode to get into it lol.

Thread owner
Sorry I did go a bit overboard on the tape, when I put the brown paper on I didn't think it was going to hold, you know what Royal mail can be like playing parcel football.

Glad it arrived safe.

Ohhh Russia is not on the list :emo10:

I guess it comes under rest of the world destinations i guess. John, i'm in the process of getting my refund from Modelhobbies and i'll order some stuff from you. Usually stuff gets to Russia no problem but has been known to take a while. When i order from you, we'll keep in close contact so i can run to Russian customs before they think about stealing it.

Cheers mate and everytime i take a look your shop is getting better and better

Paul
