Started this one a couple of weeks ago and thought I’d share the build. I still have the T-72 build awaiting weathering but was itching to get this built.
It’s been a nice simple build with no issues. The build starts with torsion bar suspension added to the lower hull along with bump stops and idler mounts.
Wheels and sprockets together all of which have the Tamiya style rubber insert allowing for easy fitting and removal for painting.
The kit includes a very small amount of PE which requires minimal bending.

The build continues with the rear hull plate.
Spare track parts, lights, tool box and gun travel lock go on.
The upper hull is next which receives a liberal application of pioneer tools and boxes etc…….

Nice start, Lots of sharp detail.
A bit more progress on the Leo, this time with the mantlet and barrel. Went together nicely for a two piece barrel and cleaning up the joint wasn’t too bad either.
