Well, being on the machine for 6 months, got used it and find it difficult to sleep without it now. Still have a few times when I fight it, even have knocked it off completely and woken to find it hissing away underneath me lol.

I got my 6 month letter asking for the data card to be sent back, I replace with a new one, and in the letter is says that it is time for me to see my consultant...YEAH!

Main reason is that I am hoping that everything will be okay and that I can have my driving licence back...although I will have to pay for the new card jobbie...I miss my old paper one.

Ta guys, not one for driving but do miss being able to pop to the boat club or to my mates etc.

I thought the thread said " sleeping with the consultant "!!

What with my bad eyesight, your sleep apnea, Robert's strokes, and various other member's ailments, combine us all & we'd have one fully healthy person! ;)

Hope you get your licence back Si, public transport is a nightmare

Hope you get mobile again si, and also hope the consultant has good news too cheers tony

Not too sure about you getting your licence back Si the roads are bad enough. :) :) :) .

Good luck with it Si

Hope all goes well Si.

What ever you do do not go to the East End of London. Just travelled through London

and it is manic manic manic absolutely stupid. Worse than being on the bumper cars

with lunatic drunken drivers.

Watch it I am all for it.

Shall I list all my ailments. Here goes.

1. Very decrepit body. :(

Laurie:) :) :) :) :)

My wife and I both had to do the sleep apnea thing, all those bloody wires and things how the hell were we supposed to sleep normally? I got up to go to the loo and dragged it off the bedside table, waking up the wife in the process, we ended up having a crap nights sleep and they said there was nothing wrong even after that, anyway good luck Si I am four and a half thousand miles away, so I don't care and everyone drives like idiots here anyway. :)

My hair is falling out and my thyroid is shot. My knee gives me gyp as well. I'm falling apart already!

I may add that this age thing on here is probably what keeps it so civilised. That's no bad thing really

Actually at this ripe old age I cannot complain.

Many sports injuries which all come home to roost in old age but I have

just found ways around the problems and quite frankly ignore them.

Not much I cannot do which I have always done except just now in

slow motion. All names are there it is just a matter of finding them.

I put this down to the fact that the brain has become over loaded with

information of 77 years and memory is getting low. Must do a format

but not sure where to store the info during the process.

Hair follicles are emigrating slowly but still retain 85% (counted them  )

Last time I went to the Barbers I asked for a discount as he had less work to do.

He told me he would have to charge a search fee on top.
