Getting used to the new look but just a couple of niggles - some of which may be my fault.

Is there any way to mark posts we've replied to or include a quotation from one when we reply?

When there's a group of photos to look at, the slide show button doesn't work and I always have to click individual images twice (I don't mean the usual double click). Also, when I open the first image, the picture that appears is the last one I looked at on a previous post.

Go to reply and then click on more options, you will see a watch this thread tick box, also at the top right of your page there is something called alerts, that will show you when someone has quoted you, like now

Not sure why that is, I've not noticed any problems with it but I will look in to it

Well John, it looks smooth and spacious compared to the older format. Still feeling my way around so yet to decide if I like it. So far it's okay, just wish all the threads I have seen or marked as seen previous would not reappear as unread.

Update: now latest posts appear as they should.

Also, like Joe, I can't find the gallery feature......

Polux, the trophies are for the amount of posts you send, and things like that...bit like gaming really!

Am I missing something John. You had the shop on the top bar. Can we get to the shop from the forum ?

Had a good look around & it is defintley a much sharper system than the last. Cannot find one but is ther a spell check ?

Is there a way of going straight to your thread? apart from forum>under construction>planes and helicopters> and then scroll down to find your thread. It a bit of a long process. Also is there going to be a homepage with featured builds and latest posts? apart from these queries I'm loving it

There is going to be a front cms page but I have to find one.

Gallery, is it used? I don't mind buying it if it is, the one I've found will let me import all the current pictures and I think it has other things like picture of the week/month.

Vaughan, isn't going to a thread the same way it used to be done?

But can do without it if it casues a lot of time & money.

Your most probably right there John but "my threads" (which we did have at one stage a while back)would be useful, it's funny how you forget how the old site worked!

Vaughan if you click your name at the top there's a "my content" tab to take you to your latest posts.

Also in your profile, on the information tab you have two options for your replies and started threads.

This is a bit quicker than going through all the sub forums to get where you need to be...
