Just been catching up with this one Alan, the jeeps look nice mate and the figures don't look to big in my mind, it was quite a snug vehicle really. Did you brush paint these Alan? What's your process?
Cheers

They all look a bit rough in close ups, but once "set in scene" and given a bit of distance from the camera they will "blend" nicely.\ said:Cheers Jim glad you like it![]()
I haven't been able to do much on this lately but I have managed to finish my first stand alone figure
I don't know if I want him siting on a tank or sat leaning on something
He looks a bit rough in the closups but he is much better on set as it were View attachment 125848View attachment 125849
I agree Jim , figures are an enigma for me , I just get the acrylic and wash version good and then someone comes along with oil paints so I have to learn all over again lol\ said:They all look a bit rough in close ups, but once "set in scene" and given a bit of distance from the camera they will "blend" nicely.Very few of us can build 1/35 figures that can stand "close up" scrutiny, I certainly know I'm NOT in that group

I've got myself in a real pickle with my "Eye Deep In Hell" dio. 8 figures plus have to make at least a couple of "casualties" from scrap box\ said:I agree Jim , figures are an enigma for me , I just get the acrylic and wash version good and then someone comes along with oil paints so I have to learn all over again lol
I've been keeping an eye on that Jim , have you thought of having them sunk in the mud to mask them , I've seen it done and it can hide a lot\ said:I've got myself in a real pickle with my "Eye Deep In Hell" dio. 8 figures plus have to make at least a couple of "casualties" from scrap boxGuess I better start getting good at them, I really want to go all out with the detail and weathering with this one so it will be a drawn out affair for sure. But you can always keep up with progress in the under construction forum...........Jim

Best thing is I have unlimited "mud" can always dab more about where needed so should be no trouble to have them positioned realistically, just wanted to get tanks in early stage as they are integral part of the landscape\ said:I've been keeping an eye on that Jim , have you thought of having them sunk in the mud to mask them , I've seen it done and it can hide a lot![]()
