I have finally completed my star destroyer. I repainted it about three times (there must be about 15 coats on there by now) and spent many nights wiring up lights and threading fibre-optics, with a 0.3mm drill in one hand and tweezers in the other. In the end, I have fitted 23 LED lights, and around 360 individual optic fibres. The lights look so much better in real life than in the photos, but that's always the way. :) I have a couple of better photos on the camera, but can't get them off the card at the moment.

Anyway, here's some photos, and thanks to those who gave me advice on the painting.

I also did not see this one,a lot of work by the sounds of it,but a big pay off

well done, ;)

Agree, this looks great, the lighting brings it to life. I'm no scifi type but that could easily have come from a TV show.
