Step of making pine tree in 1/35 scale.

Hello again, here is my diy. model tree about 1/35 scale pine tree. This model tree twisted tree trunk and branches with wires. I used real grass and dye with medium green color for the tree leafs. This model tree high 25cm. and suitable to diorama of WWII.

Very nice Thanan.

I'll add this technique to my knowledge, hopefully it'll improve my model tree building for the future.

Brilliant just brilliant will have to try this myself, thanks for the how to.

What is that white material you use to coat the wire along the truk and branches? It looks a bit like air dough. I usually use a thick mix of Tetrion wall filler when coating the trunks of my trees such as the one I did here:

Hi Thanan this is excellent work and very very realistic any chance you could do a written step by step guide as this will be very useful for an on going project as i need 1/35 pines. 5 stars mate lovely work.

Looks really good. Just contemplating buying some trees for the edges of the shelves which are set up as airfields and where my model aircraft are displayed.

Your trees are the part & look much superior to the shop ones.

Will take your idea & use it Thanan. Provided you do not charge me !

What was that orange stuff you used? some sort of plaster?

Just checked out your Facebook pages - there are some stunning trees you've made there, very impressed! I need to practice some more - I can get the trunks and branches looking okay but need to work more on getting the foliage looking realistic.
