More work on the invasion stripes. Below photos are final masking before application of the black.

Hardest part of masking is getting a good line on the tapering fuzz at the back end.

And this is what we have after all the effort

I have some minor repair work to carry out where despite my best efforts the black crept in under the masking tape in a couple of places. Nothing major. Next up will be varnish and decals.

Very nice Steve. I don't think I have ever not had black bleed into the white stripes. Sometimes you can simply scrape the bled paint off.

Putting the finishing touches to this build now. First some work on the undercarriage in the form of adding the mudguards

Next up was fitting the bombs. These were a real pig to line up with the bomb carriers so they are a bit bodged.

Propellers all painted and now fitted into the spinners

Then onto the decals. I made a ridiculous school boy error with the decals which I didn't notice until I was well into the fitting process. A Blue Peter badge to the first one to spot it.

All that's left to do now chaps is fit the bomb bay doors and undercarriage doors, bit more Micro set on the large red decal on the wing near the fuzz, varnish in satin and tidy up any work required on the canopy. and add any appropriate light weathering. So next pictures will be the completed build. Thanks for checking in.

The letters in the wrong position, but I doubt anyone would have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it.looking very good though. Great work.
