Howdy guys and Gals,
I just wanted to drop a line to everyone and let you know that I am still alive and kicking. I never left, I have just been too busy with work the past few months to build anything. However, I do still come in weekly (sometimes multiple times a week) to read up on what every one is doing....sort of living vicariously through ya'lls builds since i havent had time to build anything myself .
John emailed me the otherday while I was at work and wondered how i was doing and noted that he hadnt seen or heard anything out of me for some time. Well, being at work, I had to reply to him via my cellphone ( I have no idea how kids can write messeges with a cellphone...it boggles my mind) so my reply to him was short.
But, Like I told him, I have started a 1:48th scale model of the bell Jetranger Helicopter which I will be painting to look like the local television news chopper. I am not exactly sure when I will finish it, I havent had time for even speed builds lately...I drive an hour to work, work 12+hrs, drive an hour home then do it again.
Anyway, I just wanted to let ya know that just like a model airplane, us old modelers dont die, we just sometimes get "tied up" (ok, bad joke, but "hung from the ceiling" didnt fit).
So, when i get abit further along with the build, i will post some photos.
I will continue to drop in and read the threads as i always have done, heck I couldnt give up this hobby if i tried.
