Just discovered this afternoon that the bristles from a yard broom make excellent paint and glue aplicators

Do you just take a pair of scissors and cut some bristles off everytime you need to do some glueing?

What happens when you need to do some sweeping up outside? :P

There are plenty left over to keep the mrs happy mate
 
Teeth from a comb ( chunky types etc )make good replacement propeller blades for 1=72 scale models,cut them off,shape the root with a file and glue into a turned wooden spinner,tougher than any kit examples.
