looking in the box after the Dragon kit,wow upper/lower hull,

and only 3 spurs, :D

and no real fiddly bits, yaaaaaaaaa :)

so should be a dream to make, without going cross eyed over plans,

I'm really interested to see how your model will turn :)

Good luck! ;)

I like the look of this, the high plating and gunner on top are cool

that's cool ,Polux, you mite have to big out your one, very easy so far,

and glad that you like it, :D

ta Dougie, glad your liking it as well,,oh Booo, need more crew men as well,.............. :)

I have this in the stash moni:)

This is identical to the tamiya kit , the parts are all exactly the same just numbered differently and in this kit there's an extra part you don't use :D

I'll be popping in on this one :)

oh that's nice to know ,but what is the part plz ?

real,so who,kit was it 1st then,?

have you made yours let and I,missed it ?

but glad you like it, ;)

I did find one thing confusing with the front drive hubs,it has it so the bit keys in,but also has a half bit that can fit it as well,

hope I did it right,

These are simple kits - often they show the Tamiya RC heritage by having battery spaces etc.

A good kit for trying out new weathering techniques.

I'll dig the kits out later and tell you which part it is moni

I think it was tamiya who first produced the kit moni and academy copied it , it's not unusual for academy to copy tamiya either through licence or just steeling I had the same thing with the tirpiz kit

I haven't built it yet moni :)

its is a basic kit, have it all but put together,

and yes JIM,Alan,I did see the RC slots in it as well thinking I had seen them in a tamiya kit,

I hope that I can do this one in a camo ,some think other than Panza gray,, ;)

and I need to get the twist out of the track, some how as well,

maybe a dip in hot water and lay them out flat ? with some thing of weight on top ?

Hi Monica I've already built this,it goes together well and looks good, the pics are on the forum if you want to take a look.

Scott

Nice kit, I have several different "Stugs" but the 167 is my favorite, I like the "pigs head" mantlet and the skirts, plenty to rough up with them:eek:

it is very nice Jim,thats why I did wont to make one,

but I just cocked up with the tracks and broke them trying to get the kinks out,oh my :mad:

Not good, If they cant be superglued im 99% sure there's aftermarket tracks for stug's Iv just finished two tracks for my type 5 chi-ri, For one track its 102 links, in total, 204 parts so 408 sprue joins and 408 times iv had to shave them, double that for the other track.

First time iv used magic tracks but they act and feel like real tracks but wont cost the same as metal tracks.

Coming along quite nice tho!, makes me wanna get back into the WW2 tanks :)

Hope you get some new tracks sorted Moni. I have a couple of tanks in the stash, I shall be watching for inspiration;)

glad that your liking it so far,I only real like the ww11 stuff,

I just used the magic track links on my other German tank gun thing, and i did not mind them at all,

just a few little spots were i did nott get the glue on right ,

there must be an easy way of doing the gluing for them ?
