Ok some pics of Alanb`s model Sub.

trafalgar class, i beleive HMS TRENCHART.

a new build on with a sheerline kit.

Alan done some research and found an experimental paint scheme which was used on the real boats .I think it really makes the boat stand out ( and it`s a bit easier to see when submerged) .

Adz,

Didn't I see a sub with exactly the same paint scheme on Ebay only a week or so ago? It certainly makes a change from the overall black.

Yes you are correct, it is the same sub that was on Ebay.

After seeing it sailing etc I just could not part with it.

The model is actually based on HMS Trenchart, with an experimental paint

scheme, for which I believe was for use in the Med.

It does make the model stand out from the normal black.

Credit must go to Sheerline models for a fantastic submarine kit.

I thought so and I must admit I wouldn't want to part with it either!

Lovely model and really looks the part in the water.

FRANCIS FEARN formerley of SUBWAY DESIGNS had the same type of sub in the same colour scheme, - this toured alot of model shows so was on the 'cicuit ' for a while

Very nice model and excellent pics too, that colour scheme does help it stand out in the water very well too.

I wouldn't want to part with that either !!
