Advise please. Nothing technical though. :upside:
I have some P.E. that requires sticking to a model.
I know how to use the 'Ordinary' stuff, but the missus bought me some replacement super glue and I'm not sure it's the right one.....

It's called super glue flexible and has 10secs. work time and remains flexible once it's gone off.

I know I will only be using a tiny amount on the joint, so I don't think the flexibility will be an issue.

Any thoughts before I open the packet, chaps?

Thanks.

I can’t see it being a problem Ron, but I’ve never used it myself.

Mr Tik,

I have some of that new fangled flexi ca glue. I wouldn't call it flexible like rubber but it has a slight amount of "give" in it, seemingly making it a little less brittle. I've found it helps when you accidentally brush against a knocky off bit, but it doesn't need any special treatment.

I've used it and it is fine. As Andy said it is supposed to be less susceptible to knocks.

Chaps, thanks ever so much for the most excellent response to my question.

Seems I'm good to go and as a bonus I don't have to pluck up the courage to ask the present Mrs. Ron to exchange the glue for the 'proper' stuff. :cold-sweat:

Cheers all.

Plus one on the flexible stuff. It is Less brittle than the liquid stuff, making parts harder to knock off. It can leave a little more residue than the liquid stuff though, so use it sparingly.
