Afternoon

Decided to call it a day on this build but when on the base will add more fuel pooling and pigments to hide some misstaks and the joins in the tracks

Tamiya T 34 / 76, this is part of my first dio showing the T 34 knocked out by a StuG, showing a hole in the left hand side, impact on the turret side and front plate with no penetration. also one of the fuel tanks punctured with split fuel

My grateful thanks to Steve H ;) :thumb2: but must mention the superb support and encouragement from Steve Jones :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Have tried a few new ideas especially modulation

Hope it goes down well

Looks fine Bob

Especially as its NOT a Stug!

Time t finish the base, that will be fun too!

I have started building bases first in an attempt to get something/anything finished LOL

Reminds me I need some more layers on my road!!

You are getting there, well done

Regards

Hi Bob
Looks good to me. Certainly deserves a nice dio base.

By the way a "green thingy with holes in it!" is called a golf course :tongue-out3: :rolling:

Looks great Bob. Very nicely done.
Thanks Andy

Appreciated,

Bob,
looking good! - Now you've taken your first step towards salvation, I would suggest the Trumpeter KV-1...........it would be a shame to let that 4BO paint go to waste! :smiling6:
Dave

Well done Bob. Nice to see the final changes you made. You've learnt a lot from this build which you can now take forward to the next build. Thanks for involving me in the process and sharing this build with us all. Great stuff mate

Very generous Steve and much of it down to you and your help :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Just ordered another green beast, as Dave said got some 4BO to use up lol

Hi Bob

That is looking very good indeed. You should be very pleased with your efforts!!!

Out of interest how hard was it not to give it a base coat of dunkelgelb?!?!?

Andrew

Bob .
See I said you would become hooked with the might of the Motherland.
Careful as the KV 1 ate Stugs.

Nice build, :thumb2::nerd:shame about having holes punched into it though :loudly-crying:.
Now say after me , 4BO Rule , repeat as needed.

Comrade, bought a russki shed but not a KV, its large and very ugly?

Tried that terrible word but a StuG book fell on my foot, god bless um

Green Beast? = Zveroboy = Beast Slayer = SU-152? So called because of it's ability to knock out Tigers, Elefants & Panthers

Your prize is on the way Dave! One very big and ugly beast!!

Hmmmmm, I did the Trumpeter version a year ago, and it was VERY good ( no rubber band tracks! ) whichever model, it's an impressive beast!
Dave

Certainly is Dave, think this might cure Bobs from his misconceived idea that StuG's rule. An " Ugly Beast " rather an unkind thing to say Bob :disappointed:, tis a thing of beauty.

4BO Rule.

Dzhon.
