I have started on this little beauty as my next venture.
If I could have afforded it I would have had a real one, but that was not to be.
I was a bit impatient and got started before taking the naked sprue shots, so here is where I am at the moment.

Sorry, 1875CD48-9FFF-47A3-A26E-12CD676FE35D_1_201_a.jpeg7753032E-7DD0-4928-BB18-4F8EEDF48C8E_1_201_a.jpeg12F6658E-6394-4B3F-9CAF-FA6098BA5A05.jpeg
I was determined to include plug wires, so after two days of faffing around, managed to get it to something I can live with. The plug wires are actually cotton, kindly donated by my wife:smiling2:

I'm not happy with the recommended red colour of the interior panels, so will be changing them to black.

I have tried to emulate leather seats, what do you think?
The paint job is still too rough so will sand and re-gloss, it has had 4 coats of the blue and two gloss varnish so far.

All C&C welcome.
Cheers

Hi all, I have installed the suspension and steering now, and the engine is in place.
Cheers

Hi Garry
Iconic car. Looking good so far. Nice job with the plug wires. You can also use thin wire.

Thank you Jim, I tried with thin 28g wire, but I'm afraid my eyes and skills were not up to it :smiling3:
I also tried the outer insulation of some electrical wire, but that was far too thick.
So after much faffing, and trying any option I could think of, I had to settle on the cotton, which to be fair at normal looking distance, if not bad, and better than no plug wires at all.

On the home straight now.
It hasn't been a bad kit to build, only a couple of minor irritations.
