Hi all,
Just finished this kit which was a joy to build, typical Tamiya. useful amounts of detail and superb engineering, very little flash and seam lines and decent decals. used some PE from a Hiroboy kit for the brake discs, radiator fan and meshes, pedals and speaker grilles. painted in SMS Blackcurrant pearl and Super Clear with Tamia acrylics for the interior and detail parts.
The build represents a customers car that we resprayed and fettled after he bought the car to replace his aging Porsche 928. He said the Nissan gave him 85% of the performance and driving enjoyment of the Porsche with 50% of the running costs. Fun fact - the headlights from this car were used by Lamborghini in the facelifted Diablo after they ditched the wonderful looking pop up lights on the Mk,1 Diablo. He was so pleased with the work we performed that we got commissioned to build 5 Cobra kit cars for him and his business partners.
Enjoy the photos, all comments and criticisms welcome.1000023599.jpg1000023601.jpg1000023636.jpg1000023638.jpg1000023640.jpg1000023639.jpg1000023642.jpg1000023643.jpg1000023644.jpg1000023645.jpg1000023641.jpg

I agree with Garry, a beautiful job of a car close to my heart.

I hold my personal speed record in one of these, J69WKW

Beautiful job on a totally underrated suoercar , i love the 300zx , a fantastic motor. The colour and finish are brilliant too stefan . Takes me back to playing Gran Turismo in the mid 90s with my son , he still loves old school Japanese motors to this day , cheers tony
