discussion Tamiya 1.32 Mustang

Hi All, Been away from the forum for a while having built Tamiya's 1.32 Spitfire and the Me 109. Hoping to go for the Tamiya P51 if Santa is kind.If it's anything like as good as the Spitfire then the omens are good. Has anyone built one lately. If so, any pitfalls?

Ps for Steve. Love that Lanc. Steve. Must have taken ages as it's a huge lump!

Hi Pete,good to see you back.

I've not built the Tamiya P-51 yet but it is veeery near the top of my pile. I have opened the box and fondled the plastic and it certainly looks very nice indeed.

Glad you liked the Lanc. It took so long because I had an enforced break (work not prison ) in the middle!

Pete - take care with the engine block mounting. The screw/nut 'threaded' on mine and it caused one hell of a problem!
