Hi all a bit more progress today masked and painted the windscreen, attached it to the car and neated up the interior a little.

Scott you have made my mind up! Ive always wanted to do a flat black finished model and yours looks fantastic. I doubt that is going to be your final colour though

cant seem to get the gloss varnish much shinier than this so the final finish might just be this way.

I have had a similar problem with getting a gloss finish using humbrol gloss varnish I have just ordered a few different gloss varnishes to try. I have only been using acrylic varnish up to now and sometimes it is dull and other times it seems to develop a crazing. Post on here if you have any success with getting a good gloss, apart from that, model looking good.

Looking good there Scott, may i suggest painting the brake calipers gloss red to make them stand out a bit, this is the norm on a Porshe.
