This might be my next build, and I've been pondering which pink to use?
I have Tamiya X17 pink, which is a bit bright, but could mute it down a bit.
I know I could mix white/red to get a pink.
I also have a Humbrol PRU pink (for Spitfires, etc) which seems to be a nice muted pink.
Most references I found online state Vallejo desert pink is the one to get, (think its 70.400 or 71.400?) and of course of all the paints I have, including many Vallejo, I don't have that one, Doh!
So as stated above I do have options, but what have you used in the past if/when you have made the above SAS pink jeep?
NB: It will be weathered anyway, so will not end up just being pink, I understand they generally just overpainted the already green jeeps, so I may do a bit of green chipping, plus some mud/sand, so along with the weathering it will be a mix anyway, just interetsed in what others have used....cheers.
