Tamiya 1/48 Sd.Kfz 251 in allied service as an ambulance.

Looking good 
Made a good start on the weathering, oils and pigments. Wanted a dry dusty/dried mud look.
Then the tracks. very fiddly and awkward. At one stage I though it was impossible!! I've done one side.
Although the tracks are painted I'll have to weather them to match the rest. Hopefully they'll not fall apart as they are very delicate.

I'm really liking the weathering Jim.
I've found that anything enamel based can disintegrate these tamiya tracks if it goes on too wet.

Take a bow, interior and exterior are fantastic, forget the tracks I could spend all day looking at the outside finish.

I'm liking that a lot.
I got the other side track on. Much easier than the first. Added the tools etc and gave an overall coat of matt varnish.
A great kit, typical Tamiya. Their 1/48 kits are really nice. I've build a few now. Converting it to the captured ambulance was a fun project.

I have started a simple base and I have a figure who will do as a medic but that will be put on hold while I get going on Pete's cargo truck GB.
