Not part of the kit just supposed to look like the wiring loom exposed as the tank and seat are off, your comment pretty much answers my question, unfortunately I don't have any thinner wires (they are telephone wires ) back to the drawing board, perhaps I will try cotton dipped in pva glue then painted, we will see.
Ken....... The wires from a computer network cable are much thinner than telephone wire....... seven colours..... I have some at work we use. If you want some to try PM me your address and I can send you some...... We have some small black heatsink as well that will be ideal, and will look like "Loomwrap".

Nice workshop scene, love the chopper advertisement. In fact I have a 1/12 scale Revel Chopper Kit in my stash, which I will be doing over the winter months.

Messy mechanics Ken, leaving tools all over the place. I think a bit of a tidy up is in order! Nice progress.

I agree, they do look a bit too thick, maybe cotton would be better.
You could consider thread tape as it is much thinner than insulation tape.o_O

Beyond that, amazing build and dio!!

I like the tyres, not too shiny, did you rub sand paper round the tread?

Thread owner
Sandpaper then a wash mixed with white spirit mig camo washes Uschi powders and mig engine grease.

That frame looks amazing, really from the screen that could be a real frame, cracking work

Great job on the frame Ken......... The rust on the rear end at the top is a nice touch...... They always seem to have that. I`m not sure why...... But take the seat off a Japanese bike and "There it is". :D

Hi all here is an update on this one, thanks to Peter(takeslousyphotos) he sent me some networking wires which are half the thickness of telephone wires, I am now happy with the wiring loom, I dipped the ends in clear bathroom sealant for the plastic insulation over the ends of the copper connectors also I used flattened soldering wire for the cable ties to the frame..
