Getting on well with this one engine and radiator complete, wheels complete just the tyre decals to apply, frame & swinging arm. Also completed the stand and discs but picture was very poor even by my standards enjoy

Nice start Si.

I think this (along with the Suzuki Ecstar) were my favourite bike kits so far. Oh, and the Superleggera.

I’m enjoying this build have the other 2 stashed the decals on the Ecstar worry me !!! Lol

I found the trick for the Suzuki decals was to mount all the panels first so you can line the multi part decals up properly. Get the all on wet, then into position and finally burnish down.

I'm confident it won't be an issue for you mate.

Chassis assembled, well most of it
this all went together really well so now I’m worried that never normally happens to me!
i would add the only disappointing bit were the detail up parts they are very nice and shiny but when assembled they lacked the strength to hold the bottom fork in line with the outer tube and as there only held in with rubber grommets, once I had fitted the front wheel they slipped out gradually, never had that issue before with these add on items, it was quite disappointing. In the end i put a drop of super glue on and pushed them home look much better now.

Well in the final throws of this one the dreaded decals, no idea why they freak me out so much, anyway the bike complete with all the cables and electronic on it
IMG_3727.jpg IMG_3728.jpg IMG_3726.jpg IMG_3729.jpg IMG_3723.jpg
the body work painted and yet to decal apart from the belly pan i have started this mainly because the instructions say to paint green? But it is completely covered in decals and the only visable part is never going to be seen unless its parked upside down!!

i am hoping to get this completed over the weekend but we’ll see how that turns out
thanks for looking and all your positive comment
enjoy the weekend simon
