I don't often purchase model magazines, I picked up a copy of tamiya model magazine and it's much thinner than it used to be - it's also much more cheaply produced too. Is this a sad reflection on reduced interest in scale models nowadays or do I just have rose tinted recollections of what it used to be like?

Definate sign of the times. But i think more to do with the internets than lack of interest. slaes of kits on the web have exploded, magazines will go the way newsspapers are..to extinction. All the info contained in a modelling magazine can probaly be found on the net for free.
