discussion Tamiya putty

Hi folks. PJ used some Tamiya putty to fill a seam on his Mustang build. He added the putty last week and has just tried to sand it smooth. Problem is, it's not fully set. Anyone got any ideas why? It's been sat in my lounge all week so it's not been exposed to any cold or damp conditions.

That’s strange Dave. Used it for ages and never had that issue at all. I’ve found it dries very well overnight.
It dries by evaporation, so I assume it was sat in the air, not shut in a box? How thick was the filled area? Just wondering if the surface has dried and the trapped solvent underneath can’t get out?
