discussion Tamiya Weathering Stick

Hi All,



Are you using Tamiya weathering sticks? Are they enough on their own to simulate, for example, mud or do I still need to apply pigments before using the sticks for finishing only?

I have a few of the tamiya sticks and i have to say i like them although they are expensive i find that using 5 min epoxy resign and mixing in some mig pigmets then smear it where you want it, i use this for thick mud if you dont have the epoxy then mix up some putty with some silt and smear it where you want it then dry brush to suit.
