Nick away Stephen :)

Probably should have waited till the rest of the ground work was done but i just needed to see what these bits looked like in situ....

Also got the LED's in the joists, just need to finish the wiring off and add the power module in the base.

More work on kitchen today so i'll be relegated to making little bits again.. ahh well it all adds up i suppose :)

*edit* just noticed i missed a seam on the oil drum .. dammit!!

That's the beauty of taking snaps Colin, it does help to see things that get missed first time around - happens to me all the time!

That all looks really good, I like your painting of the oil drums. Can't wait to see how the lighting works!

Cheers

That's some serious talent with that scratch building. Exciting stuff!

I actually learned a few things about the korean war from the history channel.

I stored away a few mental images of American light tanks having a go at some T34 85s. Untill the pershings got there ;)

Your scratchbuilt items are looking proper.

Wow Colin, this has come on in leaps and bounds since I last saw it a week ago.

Excellent stuff!

If I might steal your thread for one minute though........

Dave (gern) so it was you I was bidding against for the full MASH set just before I went away?.......Thanks a bundle!

Forget the Eccles Cakes, it's a 'T' bone steak at Cosford next year!!!!

Hi Colin. If you weren't doing such an excellent job (and having so much fun) scratching all the bits for your workshop, I'd have suggested having a look for one of these:

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Thanks for the kind words chaps.... glad you like the lighting Patrick :)

Dave, thanks for taking the time to post the link ... appreciate that mate.

and not wanting to sound unappreciative but i don't really deal with ebay anymore as the bargains often don't end up as bargains quite often ... for instance that tool set is up at £5.51 (at the mo) with £2.30 postage ... it's only £6.00 in my local modelshop, just waiting for their stock to arrive :)

Great work Colin and on the subject of Ebay i always put the postage into the price shown .Thats probably why i dont win many ha ha

Excellent stuff Colin, that looks really good.....someone else who can't get out 'cos of the ***t weather then?
