American troops in a now secure area come across a destroyed Churchill tank.

They remember a joke between the infantry and armoured:

Infantry: "You wouldn't catch me in one of those tin cans."

Armoured: "You wouldn't catch me on foot, all exposed."

This time the infantry take time to reflect on this joke and take thanks that they weren't in a tin can.

Cracking dio there Si especially like the guy handing out the cigs top job mate well done cheers John

Great stuff as per upto your usual great finish love it, I have noticed models always, and I mean always look so much better when set in a dio, not that yours wasnt great before but the dio gives it another dimension.

great job Si, lov it, and nice to see someone else with a keen eye as well, both sum it up for me,

Just when you think you have absorbed it all you see the helmet sat on the grave marker and it makes you stop and think again. Great diorama that can do that Si. Well thought out and executed.

Brilliant figures mate. They really add extra life to the scene.

I agree Ken, it can open up more for the modeler and also for people who look at them. I find that when I have showed my models, people tend to look and move away from a stand-alone model but come in closer and have a good look when it is boarded and in a setting. More for them to see and more interesting.

Si:)

Nice bit of lateral thinking Si....

Away from the norm, great scene and very well built and painted too.
