I was searching for some information on something and came across this.......... Take a look at this video clip........ A truly bizzarre idea.

It's an interesting idea, although I see at least major problem - where to build the airports or runways.


The chap talks quite blithely about " bringing the concept into the heart of cities" when London City Airport is constantly under attack from local residents, businesses & environmental groups & they only operate small short-haul aircraft.

Just my opinion but there seems to be a lot of surface area using this idea surface area = drag = inefficiency not good

It's an extension of a fairly old idea. The idea of loading different modules into an aircraft with passengers, cargo and/or both is not new.

Part of this concept appeals to me. Any issues from passengers and you can eject their pod.

No No Joe. That will never work. We'll have pods all over the place, generally surrounded by confused ex-passengers trying to complain to anyone that will listen...................
