I have a 1/25 scale figure, all by his lonesome and was wondering what to do, so decided to have ago at making him into a monument. He has been primed, and then brass painted, with weathering using oil washes and acrylic green for the verdigris slightly showing through. The base is an old coffee coaster with a real brick and slate plinth-I wanted a rough look-once done it has been weathered.

Si:)

I was thinking that Ron, the thought of him charging towards the Jagdpanther. I actually started to paint him in normal camo and then wanted to try the brassing-I used a some kitchen roll to polish back the black.

Ta fellas and Moni, it came out much better than I could have hoped, the effect really does like it is bronze or at at least brass. In fact my mate thought I had bought a brass figure and mounted it-nope, all plastic and paint.

I like it. I wonder what it would like with a 1/35 (or smaller?) figure of an old man, standing looking at it? Give it some scale and context. Just a thought. I really like your weathering techniques, Si.
