No doubt about it Si you will be happy here. No telly totally quiet. Just love it. TiMe to think away from the world and its worries all in a world of your own.

Polystyrene and electrics. The only problem is if you cover an electric wire with polystyrene the heat generated in the wire cannot dissipate. The heat builds up continually until it melts polystyrene the electrical wiring itself. Even if this does not happen the plastic sheathing on the wire becomes brittle.

The rule do not bury electrical wiring under polystyrene or any other insulation material. At your peril.

Looks like a nice little den that.

As far as the electrics go. I would suggest that you got a couple of Out door sockets, light and switches and run the wire on the walls.. You can put the boxes where you need them and get a sparks to wire them up.

I think that you will soon get fed up with running an extension lead all the time. You can never have to many sockets in a shed and you run the risk of an over load.

Also dont forget ventilation. Very good idea when painting.... :-)

Thanks for rubbing it in. I just bet you are going to be doing a lot of naughty things to your wife now, I mean to get locked in the mancave not doing naughty things, naughty things, if you know what I mean. Okay I will shut up now whilst I can still dig myself out of the hole.
