Okay this might be the wrong forum but I went ahead and bought a tiger 131 1/35 (by popular demand) and decided I wanted to do something special with it. I have yet to see anyone do a diorama of a tank actually in a museum, maybe because some people find it boring but I think it’s kinda cool. Anyway I sort of need some tips of what the tiger 131 looks like in detail, I’ve looked at a few images online but they’re kinda meh. Anyway, if anyone has any personal photos of the tiger 131 in bovington that would be great. Furthermore I need some good 1/35 civilian figures to go along with it, preferably looking like they’re actually doing something and aren’t standing about. If anyone has any answers to this questions let me know!

Hi, I traveled in 2023 to the Tank museum, not sure how many pictures I still have on my HDD from 131 but these I shared back then on the forum.

No, Tiger 131 did not have Zimmerit. It was captured in April 1943, four months before Zimmerit started to be applied to tanks in the factories.

Ah thanks Jim, that’s absolutely perfect, I’ll have to get that as soon as possible

The Research Squad 'Tiger:'a modern study of Fgst. Nr 250031' by Lee Loyd et al (ISBN 978-0-9556422-1-0 )has to be the definitive work on these vehicles mate. Contains everything you could hope for even if it is the example from the Wheatcroft Collection - along with other cited reference works it'll help you create a stunner
