Come on then, just for a bit of fun, and following on from us all drawling over Paul's RC Tiger.

If money were no object what would be in your top 5 wish list of kits to own, (not RC stuff) plastic kits only, does not matter if its an old kit that is not in production any more, it can be included.

Here are my top 5, in no particular order.

1) The Airfix 1/24th scale Mosquito.

2) Tamiya 1/6th scale Kawasaki Z1300B Tourer.

3) Tamiya 1/350th scale Mogami.

4) Dragon 1/6th scale Kublewagen.

5) Dragon 1/6th scale Willis Jeep.

Here they all are pictured.View attachment 17490View attachment 17492View attachment 17491View attachment 17493View attachment 17494

This is a very old, long OOP kit based on this:

1/24 Airfix Mosquito

Hi Martin,

There's some pics of one built up here:

Google Image Result for http://www.derricks-home.de/images/img_modellbau/revell_08813/bagger_289_schaufelrad.JPG

I appreciate it's a bit 'toy like' 'cos it's an old kit with thick plastic for all the frames etc but it comes out to something just over 1 metre long and, whatever else it is, it's certainly different!

Very very impressive, the guy has done a very good build on it...dread to think how much that would cost as a kit if one turned up now???????

SCHAUFELRADBAGGER!!!! that just really tickled me dave ! (i know little things amuse little minds!) What an unbelievable looking piece of kit, can you hire them at HSS? i think my neighbour could do with one to sort out his garden!!!! I must admit dave that ones up there with the AMT visible horse in the weird top ten, but what a kit,the display shelf would have to be massive. As for my wish list ill have to mix real kits with not yet in existence yet so here goes, 1 . 1/32 il2 stormovik (hobbyboss, real) 2 .1/24 lavochkin la7 ( non real) 3. 1/6 kubelwagen (im not sure if esci made this one or if it was in 1/9 scale) 4 .1/32 yak 1b(montex ,real) 5.1/32 polikarpov i 16 (special hobby, real) cheers tony

Hiya Tony, the Kube was on my list too :-) the Dragon 1/6th is just gorgeous, ive seen it made up at a show....awsome. :-)

My "Can I have" list..

If anybody has spotted any of my "Can I" list anywhere, I'd love to know about it.

Some may be in production or available but I'm not sure so I include them for consideration.

1/32nd

Westland Whirlwind (not the helicopter)

Hawker Tempest (with markings for Pierre Clostermanns aircraft. His book "The Big Show" is worth a read for anyone interested in WWII airwar by the way).

Bristol Blenheim markings for Malta based anti-shipping aircraft.

Lancaster I know, I know it's big, but what the hell, let's go mad now and again.

1/35th

Armour - a selection of "Hobarts Funnies" e.g. flail tanks for mine clearance, amphibious versions of the Sherman.

Any chance of 5 of for each scale size??

Thought not.

Peter

Peter, good call on the 1/32 whirlwind! surely that ones going to get kitted sooner or later by trumpeter (hopefully!) and MDC do a resin typhoon in 1/32 but its not quite a tempest. I know you can get the sherman 'crab' mine clearer in 1/76 by airfix from hobbycraft amongst other places but i dont know about a 1/35 version , great list though, cheers tony

Have to say I have been following this with interest but I really do not have a wish list. I rarely go with a plan, generally I just see something and think "Oooooo" and that is it!!!!!!!

Come on graham, dont say youre not secretly coveting daves schaufelradbagger!!! You must have a few fantasy ones that havent (and probably never will be!) kitted yet, the more unlikely the better! cheers tony
