Hi all, some advice wanted please,

I'm in the final stages of building and weathering my first Gunpla/Gundam model, can you and should you matt top coat over the top of AK weathering pencils. I'm slightly worried that if there isn't some kind of protective layer over the top then the weathering would just rub off, also another concern is that AK weathering pencils contain water soluble pigments and the varnish might reactivate the pencil weathering.

If you can matt top coat over the top which matt top coat would you recommend please, it would need to be available in a rattle can though.

Regards, Chris.

I've used both Humbrol and Tamiya matt acrylics lightly sprayed over the aforesaid pencils with no problems (unless you count the inevitable slight darkening overall)

Thanks for the reply Steve, Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear worked a treat.
