When I first started to attend shows I always found something broken on a build and had to go round asking if anyone had any glue, a knife or tweezers etc. Now I carry my own "Ade First" box I'm sure I could add more to it but this is pretty much what's in it and it tends to set my mind at ease :)

Been there, displaying boats and models always seems to be something that falls off despite the boxes, bubble wrap and careful packing-like you I take a small 'Model first-aid kit'

Si:)

Adrian grave omission. First aid plasters, scissors and Paracetamol. :(

Ade (or indeed anyone), how do you go about packing the models themselves for transportation to a show/contest? That's always my biggest challenge.

I have several "Really Useful" boxes of different sizes, I put foam in the bottom and use cocktail sticks to secure them in place, they stack nicely onto a little fold away sack truck to wheel about :)

you never know when something may happen to our models , had a friend at a local model meet who's box containing 2 tanks got blown off his car roof while locking the door and did a fair bit of damage
