Tree root experiment

Nice, looks good, I did use some cheap resin tree trunks/roots in a recent diorama, looked ok once weathered, etc...

OK, here is the finished version of the tree root I was going for. I believe I have done what I wanted to do, as in make three tree roots visible without overpowering them with the flock and grass and attach them to an already made tree stalk.

Looks good mate.
One thing you could do, (if you wanted to), is to score the tree trunk and roots with a scalpel or similar sharp blade to simulate bark, etc and generally rough it up a bit.
You could also try painting the trunk/roots slightly different colours, light brown, dark brown, greys, even blacks, as if you like at most tree trunks they are not just one colour.
But for a first attempt that still looks good mate, cheers.
