Just had a read up on this,
Lovely work on the Tank,(wouldn`t have thought it was insane scale unless you`d said!;)),
I really like the look of that shed,a cracking little building that is,shame there isn`t a larger version available :nerd:...... going to be a great scene this:thumb2:.
Thanks Andy, appreciated mate.
I'm at the bench in between painting in the house, yes I'm on a busmans holiday!
I want to try and get this done before next weekend as we are away for a couple of weeks!

A little bit more done to the eye sore.
Wheels painted but need completing, tracks done but need weathering, panther 70% complete, still got bits to add and paint, I'll see what happens tomorrow to see whether it's worth starting on the storage shed?!

Thanks Rick, like I said above, I need this one to be complete before going away so why not crack on and get it sorted! :smiling:

Hells bells Lee.
Good for you, I have trouble with 1/ 35 so heavens knows how you along with Paul and Rick manage .

The struggle is real John, the struggle is real! :smiling5:

Coming on nicely!!

In terms of a thin wire alternative, I sometimes use plastic bristles from indoor brooms..... Very springy and forms a curve perfectly plus it holds almost any angle you bend it at..... Plus it's VERY resilient and doesn't bend easily once in place.

You can just about see it here..... https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/andrews-1-72-armourfast-panther-g-paint-and-decals.34992/

ATB.

Andrew
They look good Andrew but my main efforts for this build will be the star antenna

All this progress Lee and there's me bumbling along - s-l-o-w-l-y!!
Well - 470+ parts just for the track alone on my build!!
My problem is unlike you, I'm getting little bench time and more paint the house time.
Looking good though Lee.

Paint the house.......sand the floor.......wax on, wax off!!!...........Taxi!! :tongue-out3:

Thanks Doug.
If you built a sensible kit like me, a kit with only 20 parts, your bumbling would be more like a sprint! :tears-of-joy:
Some advice on painting the house... get someone else to do it, you'll have more bench time! ;)

Guess who's back...?!
After our sunny holiday to Fuerteventura, I thought I better get some time back on the bench!
I thought I'd make an effort and try and get this one finished sometime this year!
To break myself back in gently, I have only sorted the wheels and tracks (these are staying as original!) and have them in place! I have also made a start on the century old storage shed, yes it's old, yes the parts are... surprisingly detailed! It'll do as a back drop to the small dio!!
Pics...!

Still a fair bit to do, I'll get there!

Thanks for looking in.

Very nice so far Lee. Looks like the perfect ingredients for a great little dio. :thumb2:

Well Lee you've made a cracking job of the tiny pussycat. The old hut looks great. When you have completed the dio I suggest lending viewers magnifying specs so it can be truly appreciated :smiling:

Just a small amount done tonight, looking at diorama ideas and this is what I'm going to go for!
The tree is looking sorry for its self but it'll do, got more bits from the shed to add, a few more bits on the panther, smudge the ground over and hey presto, another catastrophe I mean dio!20230705_221001.jpg20230705_220946.jpg20230705_220938.jpg20230705_220934.jpg
