That is really great mate. I got the Trumpeter 1:32 Me 262A-1a with the Eduard BIG ED set as well. Unfortunately, when I looked at the sprues, the "clear" engine covers were frosted, and not really clear. I noticed that the Tamiya and zoukei mura 1:32 "clear parts" are like this as well. I really do not get this. What is the point?

Only a few parts left to attach (tail stabilizers) and the canopy bits. So far, with only a few pfennigs sitting over the nose gear, it sits fairly well without much coaxing. I will make those connections permanent, when it is finally finished. Not much mojo today to complete it, mostly detail paint, but we'll see. Maybe tomorrow.

This is looking absolutely superb ........... I'll look forward to the finish ......... Once the finger is ok. I'm wondering how one goes about boiling a finger ???

I was making soup. Stove top. I got careless when stirring and I splashed a good portion on my left index finger, and since I am also left handed... >

Nice trick with that Jig Using the multimedia box which comes with the kit mate. Very creative! The cockpit looks great

BTW, have you weighted this model down? This is going to be a massive tail sitter.

4 pfennigs in the front, just over the nose gear. It's almost perfectly balanced. (and nearly finished).

yep. That's a relief. It would be such a pity if you forgot those...
